Position: Wahlburgers Manager
Job Summary
This is a full-time management position. The manager must manage operations and deliver an exceptional guest and team member experience; manage, train, and develop team members, and work within all budgeted guidelines. The manager is responsible for performing all tasks and job responsibilities to the highest standards.
Job Functions
General
Leading and directing the daily operations of your Wahlburgers restaurant, in both the front of the house and heart of the house.
As part of the management team, assist in the selection, training, developing and motivating team members for operational excellence.
Ensure the financial and operational efficiency of the restaurant.
Oversee and assist with the inventory, purchasing, receiving, and storage of Company specified products.
Achieve budgeted sales and profits goals.
Maintain professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
Uphold restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards always, including handling chemicals safely.
Ensure building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in good repair, clean and maintained regularly.
Culture
Upholds FOD Asset Management, LLC Wahlburgers Division’s mission, vision, philosophy and core values through behavior and action.
Clearly and consistently communicate all company policies and procedures and hold team members accountable for compliance.
Has a strong presence in all areas of the restaurant to guarantee that the Guests have an outstanding experience every time they visit Wahlburgers.
Responds to all Guest feedback (Yelp reviews, Google reviews, Guest emails, etc.) in a timely manner. Sets the standard for the restaurant through leadership by example.
Ensures a safe and harassment-free environment for all Team Members and Managers.
Understands, complies with, and ensures team members are accountable for:
All Company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
All federal/state/local laws and ordinances.
Financial Results
Manages and adjusts labor on a shift-to-shift basis without compromising the Guest experience.
Assists with the inventory, purchasing, receiving, and storage of Company specified products.
Exceptional ability to drive sales through employee and community engagement maintaining a strong presence in the restaurant and community.
Operations/Standards
Maintains professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
Upholds restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards always, including handling chemicals safely.
Ensures building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in good repair, clean and maintained regularly.
Team Members and Managers
Hires, trains, coaches, and counsels Team Members and is committed to their professional development.
Creates Team Member schedules, following established Company guidelines and procedures.
Clearly communicates to all team members and members of the management team.
Encourages teamwork and group achievement in a fun team spirited environment.
Job Requirements
This is a full-time position and requires a flexible schedule and open availability.
Available to work a wide variety of hours from early in the morning and late at night.
Standard work week is 40-45 hours minimum, may be more based on business needs.
High School Diploma or GED, College or University Degree preferred.
1-3 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
Knowledge and ability to perform each position within the restaurant.
Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation.
Excellent interpersonal/listening/communication skills.
Excellent problem resolution/Guest recovery skills.
Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, positive attitude, and enthusiasm.
Experienced and proficient in the use of basic computer technology (i.e., POS systems, Microsoft Office programs, etc.).
Strong commitment to serving others in the community.
Acts with integrity and treats others with respect.
ServSafe, or equivalent state/local approved, food and alcohol safety certified.
