The Pavilion at Robinson Terrace is a gorgeous 60-bed Senior Living Community located in Stamford, New York. We are seeking Full-Time/Part Time and Per Diem Home Health Aides on All shifts. Enjoy the benefits of being a Home Health Aide, and working with amazing staff every day, without worrying about having to visit multiple clients at varying locations around the county!
Duties:
- Provide personal care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with tube feeding and catheter care, if required.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
Qualifications:
- HHA Certified
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide emotional support to patients.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems for documentation purposes.
- Experience working with the elderly population is a plus.
