We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler to join our team. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic components and systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. If you have excellent Soldering skills, apply today for immediate consideration!
Duties:
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics
- Assemble electronic components using hand and power tools
- Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Test assembled products for functionality and quality assurance
- Troubleshoot and repair defective products or components
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
· Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies.
· Uses microscope to verify correct SMT part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
Skills:
· 2 years’ experience in IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 soldering.
· Must have excellent solder skills.
· Able to identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out-solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
· Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks.
- Knowledge of machining processes for electronic components
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly techniques
- Experience working with PCBs and understanding their layout
- Competence in using power tools for assembly tasks
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs and adjustments
- Proficient soldering skills for component attachment
