Clearance: Ability to obtain This position is 1st shift (~5:30am - 3:30pm) and offers a 3 day weekend!
4 days, 10 hour shift schedule. Qualifications: * High School Degree and 3 years of relevant experience * Must be proficient solder technician or operator that has used re-work equipment
* Must have experience with surface mount components
* Experience with IPC standards
* Ability to work 10 hours of weekly overtime
* Ability to obtain secret clearance Responsibilities: * Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
* Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
* Read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
* Work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.
