The Rod Shop Data Entry-Shipper works as part of the warehouse team in the Orvis Rod Shop, and is primarily responsible for data entry and shipping fly-fishing rods. This position also assists in rod production as needed. Our starting rate is $15/hour and we hire on a full-time basis. We offer a $500 sign-on bonus

Position Interface This position reports directly to the Rod Repair Lead and will interact with other Rod Shop associates. This position will communicate daily to the Lead regarding work scheduling, status, and issues. Responsibilities:
Be an ambassador of the Brand and embody the Orvis Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Culture
Rod identification and inspection
Data-enter rod repair information into NetSuite & i-Series
Help track and monitor inventory
Pick, pack, and box repairs for shipment
Accurately enter all Rod Shop shipments into the shipping system
Ensure all reports are run at end of day and necessary paperwork has been completed
Key-in tracking if needed
Communicate regularly with Lead to resolve any issues
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Complete additional assignments from Rod Shop management, including assisting with rod manufacturing
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma
Proven keyboard skills, including minimum of 35 WPM with accuracy
Ability to bend and move with agility
Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
Excellent hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
Effective interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task
Willingness to work in other departments as needed, including rod production
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous shipping experience
Experience in a warehouse/factory environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
