Job Summary:
The evaluation and administration of rehabilitative/habilitative techniques necessitated as a results of age, trauma, degenerative disease, congenital condition or sudden onset of pathology which requires development, maintenance, or restoration of function.
May be required to care for a variety of diagnosis groups including, but not limited to, the following orthopedic and arthritis related conditions; neurological groups including CVA, TBI, degenerative neurological diseases, SCI; and generalized weakness as a result of medical or surgical conditions.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:
Experience:
No specific experience required for entry level position. Experience may be necessary based on patient population served.
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Registration/Certification:
Current certification/licensure in the state of Indiana for specific discipline.
