JOB SUMMARY:
Greets and dismisses patients, patient’s family members and customers, answers the phone and enters data into patient financial system. Prepares appropriate documents and distributes them to responsible parties related to the patient encounter. Oversees charts and filing systems, accuracy of posting and deposits, compiles daily stats and provides support to office staff on technical job functions.
MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure: N/A
Education: High school diploma or equivalent and associate’s degree or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school; or 6 month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience and education required
Experience: One year of medical office experience is required
Other: Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and internet browser
