NOTE: This application is for a full-time, non-residential (live off campus), seasonal staff position beginning in May through October 2024.

Rebooking Agent – Programming Department

The rebooking agent is responsible for rebooking approximately 75 faculty and their programs. Rebooking agent will make initial contact with returning faculty, negotiate honoraria & other financial aspects related to faculty presenting at Omega, cultivate & maintain positive relationships with faculty, and manage the details of their workshops.

Contact, advocate for, and negotiate contracts for faculty using independent discretion to tactfully and effectively handle conflicts or issues, as well as questions and needs within the organization, that arise from time of agreement through the time of contract completion.

Rebooking Agent will manage and route necessary paperwork for each program (i.e. worksheets, contracts, faculty photos, course descriptions, etc.)


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to rebook workshops in alignment with Omega’s mission to awaken the best in the human spirit.
  • Demonstrated level of maturity and confidentiality when working with high level faculty
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Alignment with Omega’s vision, goals, and core values
  • Ability to present, develop, and implement new ideas
  • Ability to meet timelines while being flexible
  • Ability to balance working independently and being a team player
  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to file and work with programming’s filing system
  • Proficient in the following computer skills:
  • MS Word
  • Custom-written, SQL databases
  • MS Excel


WORK DETAILS

  • This position functions in Omega’s administrative offices on the Omega campus.
  • This is a full-time position – from May through October.

The typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Physical Requirements

  • May move items that weigh 25 pounds for various needs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
  • Must be able to traverse a hilly campus in diverse weather conditions
  • Must be able to position self to perform diverse job tasks as necessary
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The ability to observe details at close range

Compensation

Non-residential seasonal staff work full-time or part-time, from May through October. They receive a compensation package that includes:

  • Hourly wage (this varies by position and is at minimum above New York State minimum wage).
