The Ocean Club at Grande Dunes is Hiring a Houseman Near Myrtle, SC

The Grande Dunes Ocean Club is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our members, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and sanitized environment through dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and laundry duties.
- Perform minor repairs, such as fixing broken locks, filling wall gaps, and replacing light bulbs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist with furniture and appliance installation and adjustment.
- Maintain the beauty of our grounds by performing basic upkeep.
- Effectively communicate with members, guests, and staff regarding maintenance issues.
- Report any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, rotating weekends, holidays, and summers (minimum of 7 weekday hours or two shifts per week).
- Ability to lift 45 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to walk three flights of stairs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and think critically to solve problems independently.
- Proficient in basic cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Experience with minor maintenance repairs is a plus.
