Description: The Warehouse Manager combines strategic thinking, leadership abilities, and financial acumen to help the company reach its short and long-term delivery and OTIF goals. A successful Area Manager oversees all daily Logistics and Material Handling operations within the facility to maximize business development and efficiency.
Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
- Proactively strategize and oversee material management and shipping and receiving dock operations.
- Skillfully lead, coach, evaluate, and develop all staff members to enhance performance and propel organizational growth.
- Demonstrate a commitment to enforcing established safety, quality, and delivery policies and initiatives while ensuring accountability across the organization.
- Thoroughly analyze system reports to pinpoint performance gaps and proactively drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with support teams, leveraging established company practices to enhance overall efficiency.
- Lead the team in creating and maintaining a precise physical inventory of all raw materials and components utilized in production.
- Empower the team with the necessary tools and resources to efficiently carry out material management activities, ensuring impeccable product presentation and integrity.
- Maintain compliance with local labor agreements and adeptly resolve day-to-day union issues.
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage local carrier and freight vendors to support 100% OTIF delivery.
- Actively acknowledge the team’s achievements and boost morale.
- Demonstrate TOG’s Core Values in all aspects of the job.
- BA/BS in business, logistics, or related field or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a material management support capability (Automotive experience preferred)
- Ability to demonstrate Integrity and Humility in every situation.
- Must be able to solve simple and complex operational and/or people problems.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding and proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven leadership abilities through empowering others, fostering growth, and achieving collective success.

- Successful track record of navigating and responding to unexpected or changing circumstances.
