Description:The Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant by overseeing all aspects of maintenance activities. A successful Maintenance Manager leads the team through the implementation of effective strategies resulting in increased uptime and decreased downtime.
Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure their effectiveness and productivity.
- Proactively recognize the team’s accomplishments and improve morale.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the timely and efficient maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize uptime. Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed according to established schedules and standards.
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair activities for equipment breakdowns, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and effectively to minimize production disruptions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure adequate stock levels to support maintenance activities. Coordinate with procurement to source necessary parts and supplies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols in maintenance activities. Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness among maintenance staff.
- Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support maintenance operations while minimizing costs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in maintenance operations. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized maintenance services, ensuring quality workmanship and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs. Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance, including downtime analysis, maintenance costs, and key performance indicators.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software systems.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding and proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to solve simple and complex maintenance and/or people problems.
- Ability to demonstrate Integrity and Humility in every situation.
- Must be able to solve simple and complex operational and/or people problems.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills
