About the Job:

This position will be working in a local production/commercial kitchen for all senior centers in Cambria County and also multiple Pre K programs throughout the area.

• Monday - Friday 5am-1pm or 6am-2pm
• No nights
• No weekends
• No holidays (Paid after 90 days)
• PTO 

Duties may include:

• Cooking and food preparation
• Portioning and packaging meals 
• Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
• HAACP and health department regulation compliance
• Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls
• Work as part of a team
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position
• Some days it could be cooking, cleaning, doing dishes, delivering meals, serving seniors lunch, putting deliveries away, checking orders & inventory
• If there is a willingness to do all of the above, we offer sign on bonuses after 90 days and are willing to look at higher hourly rate

Qualifications:

• Ability to do basic math and read recipes
• A positive and consistent work ethic
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position
• Food service experience preferred
• Computer literacy preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Background check required

Physical Requirements May Include:

• Standing for long periods of time
• Sitting, pushing, pulling
• Lifting up to and in excess of 40lbs
• Walking
