The Nord Center is seeking candidates to grow its Counseling team. As an Outpatient Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to provide compassionate and effective therapy services to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Your role involves conducting thorough evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support clients' mental health and well-being. With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, you'll create a welcoming and supportive therapeutic environment where every client can feel valued and respected. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll have the autonomy to execute your therapeutic approach while benefiting from the backing and resources of the agency. Adult, child & adolescent, and blended caseloads are available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs, challenges, and strengths.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and circumstances.
• Assess the level of care needs for each client, including determining the appropriate frequency and duration of therapy sessions.
• Demonstrate comfort and proficiency in working with clients of varying ages, backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions to address clients’ concerns effectively.
• Stay informed and up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of mental health therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to optimize client outcomes.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families to enhance understanding and coping skills.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Active Ohio license as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or IMFT).
• Experience in behavioral therapy (preferred).
