The Role:

The Packaging Operator role is one of the most critical positions in food manufacturing. Packing high quality, safe, and compliant products that will delight the consumer. Successful candidates have an unwavering commitment to quality, are positive team players, and are flexible and adaptable.

The Packaging Operator role is responsible for full proficiency in the entirety of the GMP process. The Packaging Operator completes required documentation, precise assembly and disassembly of machinery, and the appropriate order of operations.

Currently operators work four days a week – 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday. Pay range is $18-$20 DOE. Check us out!

Responsibilities include:

  • Following standard operating procedures and completing regular training
  • Adhering to safety practices at all times
  • Performing regular and compliant sanitation tasks
  • Staging raw materials
  • Prepping and packaging products on an assembly line.
  • Monitoring equipment to ensure correct functioning
  • Performing quality checks
  • Documentation of the process
  • Completion of various warehouse tasks, including boxing, labeling, palletizing and moving materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment
  • Read, understand and write legibly
  • Strong attention to detail / eye for quality
  • Willingness to work well with others, collaborate, and be a team player
  • Comfortable around heavy machinery
  • Good attendance record
  • Some previous experience in production or food service preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for an entire 10-hour shift
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs.
  • Exposure to repetitive motions
  • Exposure to coconut allergen
  • Exposure to macadamia nut allergen
  • Exposure to peanut allergen
  • Must wear personal protective equipment
  • Exposure to loud noise
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals
