Description

The Labeling Associate is responsible for supporting the labeling and packaging process for products within an organization. They report to the Labeling Compliance Specialist and work closely with Quality Assurance teams and Production staff to ensure that equipment labels and materials comply with regulatory requirements and meet branding standards.

1. Labeling Review: Review product labels and packaging materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards and company branding guidelines.
2. Data Entry: Input and maintain labeling data, including product descriptions, ingredients, usage instructions, and barcodes, in labeling software or databases.
3. Quality Control: Perform quality checks and inspections on labeling materials to identify and rectify discrepancies or errors.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of labeling changes, approvals, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including labeling specialists, regulatory affairs, and production, to ensure labeling requirements are met at each stage of the product lifecycle.
6. Label Printing: Operate label printing equipment and ensure that labels are printed correctly and ready for use in production.
7. Labeling Updates: Assist in implementing labeling changes as necessary, such as updating labels for product modifications or compliance updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with label design software and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with others.
