The Bartender’s role is to share their passion for beer and provide a phenomenal customer experience to all guest of the Neighborhood Beer House. The Bartender will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of all beers that are offered on tap as well as all food menu items that will be offered at the Beer House. Pouring beer, sharing knowledge about our offerings, preparing food options (hotdogs and chips) for guests, maintaining a clean bar and dining/ social areas are all responsibilities of the Bartender at the Neighborhood Beer House. Demands will vary, with the position encompassing all facets of customer interaction from the moment they arrive until they depart our facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Make certain all procedures, equipment needs and safety protocols are met.
• Share knowledge of on tap beers with guests.
• Maintain a clean and neat facility.
• Prepare food items such as hot dogs, chips, etc. for guests.
• Practice proper food handling and safety.
• Maintenance kegs, bar area, taps, kitchen and social/ dining area.
• Be an ambassador for The Neighborhood Beer Garden and represent the brand and passion for beer in a professional manner.
• Help create a team environment, encourages others at every opportunity.

• TAKES INITIATIVE; doesn't wait for something to happen or to be asked to do something.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Beer Knowledge
• Bartending Experience Preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be able to communicate with other team members and guest

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge and understanding of basic math

REASONING ABILITY

• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
