Iron Forge Brewing Company, located in the Great Smoky Mountains, is seeking experienced and motivated Bartenders. Iron Forge Brewing Company is a new brewery passionate about creating exceptional beer, cocktails and food experiences for our guests. Our mission is to provide high-quality, locally sourced food that complements our craft beer. We’re looking for someone with a passion for craft beer, a strong work ethic and a foundation of integrity, honesty and a goal to work as a team. Responsibilities:
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Process payment from customers
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally maneuver 165 lb. kegs w/ help from a dolly
- Work on your feet in a physically demanding environment for up to 8 hours a shift
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb ladder, etc. in an 8-hour day
