Description

· Welcome guests to the hotel; help them with all of their needs; make them feel at home; and assist in selling guest rooms and other services & amenities throughout the hotel. 

· Proactively assisting guests with luggage, escorting guests to the front desk and assigned rooms. 

· Help curate a unique guest experience by helping with recommendations for restaurants, and any other destination questions. 

· Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. 

· Welcome all guests as if they were arriving in your own home.

· Directs guests to area events, businesses, and attractions.

· Answer and direct all incoming calls. 

· Log all guest requests and confirm completion.

· Maintain and market special guest programs. 

· Stock and clean the workspace for next shift. 

· Attend all mandatory meetings.

· Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. 

· Will need to observe evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. 

· Will work well in stressful, high-pressure situations with minimum supervision. 

· Be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests. 

· Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Coury Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling, which may vary according to the needs of the hotel. 

· Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working. 

· Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.

Transports guests to various areas in the Company vehicle within a 5-mile radius of the hotel.

Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards.

Responds graciously to guests' service issues and reports the situation to management.

Remembers that safety is always first. Runs fast but drives slowly.

Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.

Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at present

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Must be able to read, write and speak English

· Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR)

· Able to drive stick shift transmission. Able to drive all types of vehicles.

· Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads.

· Must have excellent organization and time management skills

· 3 years’ experience driving vehicles.

· Strong understanding of the English language.

· Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.

· Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds. 

· Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds. 

· Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. 

· Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4-hours in length.

· Running up to 500 yards, up to 50 times a day or more.

· Entering and exiting customers vehicles up to 50 or more times daily

· Willing to work outside in all types of weather. Shifts will not be cancelled due to inclement weather and all associates will be required to attend their scheduled shifts.
