**WHAT YOU'LL DO:** Develop and implement successful sales solicitation activities to secure new business from the market segment for two properties.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**

* Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication

* Advanced level of producing room revenue though directly soliciting business via prospecting, making presentations, developing contacts, negotiating and closing sales

* Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments' participating in servicing accounts

* Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings

Qualifications **ABOUT YOU**

* Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing and business plans as well as budget forecasting

* 3 years of past hotel sales experience

* Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English while also posses computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, and OPERA

* Advanced knowledge of sales skills and revenue management

* Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines

* High School Diploma or equivalent is required

**BONUS POINTS**

* Bachelors Degree in hospitality sales

* Familiar with Delphi, Opera & Knowland

* Desire to grow within the Hospitality industry
