The Moore Center is Hiring a Service Authorization Specialist Near Manchester, NH

The Service Authorization Specialist will monitor service authorizations for individuals served in the vice president’s departments. In addition to this, the Service Authorization Specialist will track department revenue and act as a liaison to the business office.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Track submission of all budgets to Service coordinators
  • Track all service authorizations for assigned individuals in MMIS
  • Receive and review all individual client budgets for Director review, completion and submission upon renewal.
  • Report any budgetary discrepancies in MMIS to the appropriate Director and VP in a timely manner
  • Promote and enhance public relations with both the internal and external community through exemplary customer service with our Service Coordination partners.
  • Assist Directors with the development of the annual budget as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree required with a minimum of 2 years of experience in office work required,Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems required
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours
  • $100,000/300,000 Automobile Liability Insurance

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to master new software
  • Interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems

All staff must adhere to the NH state law requiring mandated reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Additionally, staff are required to maintain criminal, motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services record checks that meet agency standards. Staff are also required to travel and transport clients when applicable. This includes having access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and maintaining personal auto insurance of $100,000/300,000.
