We are seeking a dynamic, fun-loving, diligent, creative person to teach our kiddos @ The Coolest Kid's Play Gym, The Monkey's Treehouse!

At a high level, you will assist in the welcoming of parents and kiddos for a portion of your job, with the majority of your focus spent on developing and executing bleeding-edge explorative learning programs and out-of-the-box promotion of these classes, events and community outreach programs to increase community engagement with The Treehouse!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with children in a safe, energetic, compassionate manner
• Plan 2-3 events each month including a Parent's Night Out with craft and a visit of some kind whether a character, a science or magic show, face painter, balloon artist, ETC.
• Manage and complete all product purchases within budget for Classes, Events, and Treehouse Supplies including cleaning supplies, retail food, and alcohol (Including in-person shopping and picking up orders at Sam's Club, Target, Walmart, etc)
• Develop collaborations with identified prenatal services to bring in a new client population—look for classes and resources to offer prenatally to make them aware of The Treehouse before their baby is even here.
• Develop new programs to bring in additional revenue including but not limited to preschool meet-ups/end of year parties, field trips, birthday parties and events at local parks, etc.
• Cover Eatery/Kitchen shifts as needed
• Complete planning for all classes led by Treehouse staff currently to include Romp & Roll, Sensory Explorers, Kitchen Explorers and Little Einstein's Science classes

This position also includes some time at our front desk doing the following.

The front desk responsibilities include:

• Book parties
• Opening and or Closing Duties
• Operate Point of Sale
• Create a fun friendly environment for customers
• Ensure a safe environment for guests
• Complete a daily cleaning checklist

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, Energetic Personality
• Previous experience with childcare, teaching or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Curriculum creation and or marketing experience a plus!

Pay: $18.90 - $22.76 per hour
