We are seeking a Brand Merchandising Specialist on a contract basis to support our customer's ongoing business needs. The nature of the work is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market, and product management activities. This role is onsite in Beaverton, OR. What You'll Do
Manage product assortment strategies that enable segmentation and differentiation to deliver a consumer-centered global product offering
Continuously manage and maintain all seasonal tools and assortments
Development and maintaining of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, ensuring alignment and collaboration at all key gates and dates
Analyze data and insights in order to support the business throughout the product calendar
Ensure merchandised assortments allow appropriate segmentation, deliver differentiation of the market place and drive incremental growth
Finalize all category assortment plans and gain resolution against issues on flow, pricing and distribution decisions
Work to ensure assortment category vision is driven to the retail floor and that end state is profitable consumer right assortments
Optimize the planning and placement of products in the appropriate format
Must haves
Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2-4 years directly relevant work experience
Experience with Tableau; MS Office Suite (Excel), and MMX
Aptitude for data and analysis – including data capture, reporting, analysis and practical application
Ability to manage multiple deadlines at once, across a variety of stakeholders
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners
Curiosity and comfort with independently seeking out information needed to make decisions and meet goals
