Are you a seasoned Configuration Management (CM) expert with a TS/SCI security clearance and a knack for streamlining processes? What You'll Do:
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical assessments of proposed CM Plans (CMPs).
Assist in developing and refining CM plans and charters.
Review and recommend CM tools for optimal program support.
Documentation & Training:
Develop comprehensive CM documentation, including templates, SOPs, white papers, and briefings.
Create online CM tutorials to empower team members.
Assist in developing materials for strategic communication with stakeholders.
Collaboration & Support:
Assist with identifying and baselining configuration items.
Facilitate the Configuration Management Working Group (CMWG) to address issues and find solutions.
Support weekly team meetings and effectively communicate technical progress and concerns.
Efficiency & Effectiveness:
Monitor CM risks and requirements, ensuring adherence to program goals.
Manage work efforts using Atlassian tools and SharePoint to maximize team productivity.
Generate and implement strategies for efficient and effective task execution.
Who You Are:
U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and polygraph.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Configuration Management, with 7 years recent and relevant.
Strong systems engineering skills in requirements gathering, testing, design, planning, risk management, and/or process development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at delivering briefings to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team with minimal direction.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Change Management experience is a plus.
Bonus Points:
CM certification or recent development classes (past 3 years).
Experience with CM in DevOps or SAFe programs.
CM audit experience.
