Medical Receptionist

Hours: Full-Time/40 Hours

Shift Details: Days, 1st shift

Our 12 primary care practices spread throughout Middlesex County provide services to patients of all ages. Middlesex Health Primary Care is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. The Receptionist is the central point of communication among patients, providers, members of the health care team and client companies. This position provides a superior level of service excellence to patients, providers and staff in a caring and supportive manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients in a professional and welcoming manner in person and on the phone.

  • Registers patients, enters data, schedules appointments and processes other medical record requests utilizing EPIC electronic medical record system.

  • Performs other tasks such as: data entry, administrative and reception functions as delegated by the Manager.

  • Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Basic office skills such as typing and filing

  • Intermediate computer literacy

  • Experience working in customer service

  • Administrative experience in a medical office preferred

  • Experience working with an electronic medical record preferred
