A premier manufacturer, who is famous within the industries for designing and manufacturing a variety of heavy-lift and long reach robotic machines for carrying & manipulating materials utilized in the forging, heat treating, aluminum and steelmaking industries. Is currently seeking a self-motivated, mechanically inclined Shop Technician for their Alliance location. This position will report to the Shop Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and fulfill requests for quotes from customers, providing them with accurate and competitive pricing.
• Provide customers with quotes from vendors, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
• Collaborate with the After-sales Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them effectively.
• Rebuild and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
• Document every step of a project, including emails, quotes, RFQs, service details, and service hours, for accurate billing and project tracking.
• Repackage and ship products using the companies bill of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in the service industry, specifically in repairing industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and the ability to work with various types of machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret machine schematics and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of software is a Plus
• Ability to use Auto Cad is a Plus
