We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our fast-growing team who leads our commerce marketing software platform, Marilyn. This candidate will interface with cross functional teams (client engagement, product management, analytics, and engineering), to provide centralized visibility and organization to team projects. This Delivery and Project Management team is integral to the onboarding of new clients, to the roll out of new features, and overall responsibility for organization and visibility to roadmap and project timelines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Project management: responsible for understanding product and client initiatives and

develop them into actionable items across the team. Set timelines, keep all stakeholders up to
date, and independently drive the process forward. Superb attention to detail is a must.
Experience with a formal project management technology is a plus.

• You will work closely with several cross functional teams and manage day-to-day projects as it

relates to our proprietarily technology products.

• As new clients and product features are brought into scope, you will be responsible for

documenting business requirements and translating those learnings to our Product Team
facilitating the development of our technology.

• As new product features are released, you will be responsible for updating user guides and

training the Client Leadership Team on those updates.

• There will be times you are receiving in various data files that will need cleansing, and

preparation before those files can be ingested into the Marilyn environment.

• High comfort level in managing client facing meetings with top executives.
• High comfort level in the creation of polished presentation materials, project timelines, business

requirements, user guides, etc.

• Proactively identify and act on client needs by understanding their businesses and use of our

products, and always put the customer experience first.

• Come to the table with ideas for process improvements and best practices to benefit the entire

team.

• Provide client support with fast response times without compromising the quality and depth of the

resolution.

• Develop an understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers and appropriately

map features and associated business benefits to address their needs.

• Become the “voice of the project”, working with the cross functional team to ensure timelines are

met and deliverables are executed with excellence.
SKILL SETS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, analytics, technology, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of project management, marketing, advertising, or technology sales and/or

implementation experience – candidate should be comfortable working with proprietary
technology, data, working with clients to identify their needs then translating that to internal
teams. Project management experience in a technical environment desired. Marketing tech
experience a plus.

• Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences
• Strategic thinking in the development of technology implementation and integration and

management of day-to-day business

• Sound decision making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge
• Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking of ways to

improve/grow the business

• Strong listening skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Skills in Excel, Asana, Aha and Jira a plus.
