Job Overview
The Assistant General Manager must be professional,dependable, enthusiastic, and friendly. The Assistant General Manager must work wellunder pressure, have previous restaurant management experience, and beexcited to join a team that is dedicated to detail. This position is to assist the General Manager in accountability for the store’s performance and requires strong organizational andcommunication skills to drive our commitment to excellent guest service andhigh-quality dining! Overall responsibilities include team leadership andmotivation, overall financial management, guest satisfaction, and additionaladministrative tasks.
Responsibilities andDuties
●Overseecoordination of the entire restaurant operation, including front-of-house andback-of-house
● Deliversuperior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
● Respondefficiently to customer complaints
● Enforceand offer the best quality of products possible
● Organizeand supervise shifts
● Appraisepersonnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive
● Estimateconsumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory
● Trackcompliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations
● Controlcosts and cut waste
● Successfullypromote and publicize the brand
● Nurturea positive working environment and lead by example as restaurantsupervisor
● Trackoperations and start corrective actions
Requirements
●Atleast 21 years of age and has earned a High School diploma or GED
● 2or more years of restaurant management experience managing a team of 15or more employees at a time, interacting frequently with guests and coachingemployees to assume increasingly challenging roles
● Demonstratedcareer experience in customer service management
● Extensivefood and beverage knowledge
● Acutefinancial management skills
● Availableto work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
● Experiencewith Windows and MS Office, Aloha, HotSchedules and an understanding ofinventory control systems is a plus
● Abilityto understand and follow specific recipes, processes and systems with precisionand consistency
● Possessstrong organizational skills and can effectively prioritize needs (solid multitasker)
● Thrivesin a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
● Ableto take direction as well as delegate tasks accordingly
● Demonstratesstrong interpersonal communication skills; able to easily interact with diverseemployees, bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
● Ableto lift and carry at least 30 lbs. and stand for 8 plus hours
