What You Will Do

Lead the charge for excellence in all accounting transactions for some of the best properties in town!

• Assist with processing accounts payable when needed.
• Prepare batch deposits and post receivables to proper tenant accounts in Yardi.
• Maintain cash balances in accordance with client requirements and prepare transfer and funding requests.
• Complete month-end process including financial statements and cash flow statements.
• Maintain monthly recurring mortgage, insurance, and miscellaneous payments.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules on a monthly basis 
• Complete month-end process including financial statements and cash flow statements 
• Assist with annual budgets, prepare audit packages and provide ledger reports as required 
• Maintain monthly recurring mortgage, insurance, and miscellaneous payments 
• gular and predictable attendance Maintain and update tenant information in Yardi 
• Assist in the set-up of bank accounts, accounting systems, and financial reports for new properties and/or customers 
• Review and approve all accounts payable and payment disbursements, tenant database changes, tenant ledgers, and rent rolls 
• Assist with annual recovery reconciliations and estimated tenant billings 
• Maintain cash balances in accordance with client requirements and prepare transfer and funding requests 
• Prepare monthly journal entries 
• Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules on a monthly basis
• All other duties as assigned 

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 3 years or more of accounting work experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets, pivot tables, graphs, etc.
• Yardi experience a plus!
