Our firm has a paralegal position open and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate who MUST have Georgia Family Law experience. We are seeking the right paralegal, eager to handle the complex areas of family law, and someone who takes pride in providing excellent service.

Responsibilities:

• Draft civil pleadings including complaints, discovery requests and responses, domestic relations financial affidavits, child support worksheets, final orders, etc.
• Draft motions and responses, briefs, pretrial orders, and issue subpoenas.
• Communication with clients and the Courts.
• Research and brief legal issues.
• Prepare files for mediation and/or trials.
• Assist Attorney in Court as needed.
• Managing the Supervising Attorney's calendar.
• Be able to take the initiative.
• Be attentive to detail.
• Provide an excellent customer experience

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience with Georgia Family Law drafting and research
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Must be task and detail oriented
• Works well with a team
• Must be organized
• Ability to meet monthly billable hour requirement

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
