The Lilypad Garden School is an infant and toddler childcare facility dedicated to the highest quality Early Childhood education and care.

We are currently looking for a highly qualified, energetic teacher to love, nurture, care for and teach as a full time substitute/support staff in our 6 month old-2 year old classes. This position will entail a full time position subbing in various 1 and 2 year old classes. We are looking for teachers with strong skills with classroom management and child engagement

Job duties include:

• Teaching in a fun and engaging way using songs, interactive games and hands on activities
• Compliance with state health/safety standards
• Routine chores to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment
• Helping with diaper changes, changing soiled children and potty training assistance
• Providing a loving and nurturing environment
• Communicating with parents effectively regarding the well being and care of their child through frequent verbal and electronic communication

All Lead Teacher applicants must have at least two years experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting.

Opportunities for pay increase are considered at 90 days based on performance and excellent attendance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
