Customer Service Manager Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and handling the intricate facets of our operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers by ensuring efficient resolution of their concerns, managing chargebacks, and overseeing varied office administrative tasks. As an integral figure in our operations, the Customer Service Manager will play a pivotal role in upholding our company's reputation and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Spearhead the customer service team to deliver outstanding support across multiple channels. Ensure customer inquiries are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Chargeback Management: Handle and resolve chargebacks efficiently, employing strategic measures to minimize their occurrence.
  • Office Administration: Oversee day-to-day office administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Proactive Customer Engagement: Take the initiative to reach out to customers proactively in case of shipment delays, providing updates and resolutions to maintain trust and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train the customer service team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Tech Stack Proficiency: Utilize and manage our tech stack including Shopify, Gorgias, and ShipStation, ensuring seamless integration and operations to support order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze customer service metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and implement strategic solutions to enhance service quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a customer service managerial role. This position is not suitable for entry-level candidates.
  • Tech Savvy: Preferred experience with our tech stack, including Shopify and ShipStation. Applicants should have a proven track record of quickly adapting to new technologies.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic and proactive approach to customer service and operations management.
  • Outstanding Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and management.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, training, and development.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and implement strategic solutions to improve customer service metrics.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of the role efficiently.

Compensation

  • Pay rate: $18-$25 per hour, based on experience.
