Assistant Director

We are looking for an excellent Assistant Director to assist our Director in our Lewis Center school.

Job Description: The overall responsibility of this position includes assisting the Center Director in training the teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, and operational objectives

- Assisting the Director with tours, handling enrollment paperwork and conducting family intake meetings.

-Creating and maintaining child and employee files in collaboration with the Director.

-Over seeing curriculum and making sure it is being implemented in the classrooms correctly, with age-appropriate activities and teaching methods.

Skills, Education, and Experience

• At least two years of early childhood education experience required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom
• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills required
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• A strong knowledge of JFS rules and regulations for childcare in the state of Ohio
• Must be able to complete and pass FBI & BCI background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
