Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational curriculum for preschool students
- Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach literacy skills through storytelling, reading, and writing activities
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about students' progress
- Supervise and ensure the well-being of children during all activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children
- Ability to create and implement lesson plans that meet educational goals
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young learners
- Organizational skills to plan lessons, manage classroom materials, and maintain records
Education:
- A degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will also be considered.
