**Job Overview:**

Our Life Childcare is a trusted and nurturing childcare center committed to providing a safe and enriching environment for young children. Our dedicated team of professionals works collaboratively to foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of every child in our care. We are currently seeking a Infant Teacher to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of the children in our program.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in Curriculum Implementation: Create plans and execute developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans that align with the daycare's educational philosophy and goals.
  • Supervise and Engage Children: Monitor and engage children in indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Provide Individualized Support: Recognize and address the unique needs of each child, offering assistance and support as required to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Classroom: Lead in keeping the classroom clean, organized, and well-maintained, including setup and cleanup of activities.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, sharing updates on children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Behavior Management: Implement positive behavior management techniques and strategies to create a respectful and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Role Model: Serve as a positive role model for other teacher assistants, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to high-quality childcare.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to all daycare policies and procedures, including emergency protocols.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on early childhood education best practices and regulations through training and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus).
  • Previous experience working in a childcare or preschool setting.
  • Strong passion for working with children and a deep understanding of child development.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow the lead teacher's guidance.
  • Patience, compassion, and a nurturing demeanor.
