The LEAD School of Middletown is looking to hire a motivated and enthusiastic Older Toddler/Pre-K Teacher. The LEAD School of Middletown is a new, small, family-owned business whose curriculum is Montessori-inspired.

Our school has three (3) classrooms, Toddler One (Ages 1-2), Toddler Two (Ages 2-3), and Pre-K (Ages 3 and up).

At The LEAD School, we bring a blend of the Montessori philosophy and the PA ELS to the daycare setting. Being a daycare that follows the blended Montessori philosophy sets us apart from other standard daycares.

Montessori teaches children to be leaders, not followers, like a standard classroom.

Duties include creating engaging, thoughtful lesson plans, establishing and maintaining a warm, inviting classroom environment for students and staff alike, friendly and reassuring communications with parents, and supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalency
• Two years direct childcare experience (preferred)
