Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. Your role will involve developing age-appropriate lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and promoting social and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Montessori-inspired curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
- Assess and monitor each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and incidents
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience working in childcare
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and educational activities
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment techniques
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children
