Job Description
The Communication Specialist will have a Bachelor’s Degree in the Communications field, public relations, or marketing and two (2) years of related experience OR six (6) years of related experience in the field of public relations, public affairs, or journalism-related with research expertise, conducting interviews, writing, editing, and obtaining release/approval for articles, feature stories, news releases, and statements, including electronic, web-based, and hard copy material.
Experience in social media platforms and use of analytics such as Hootsuite. Proven ability to support employee communication programs and products, media relations programs, community relations, special events, and photography support.
Public Trust or Active Clearance is desired. US citizenship is required.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday Onsite
Job Type: Full-time
