Description
Have a passion for hospitality? We want YOU on our team! Table 301 is seeking passionate line and prep cook candidates to join our team!
Objective: To prepare all hot/cold food items. Be responsible for consistency and quality production and ensure all food is served according to specification.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines
  • Insure station is set for service.
  • Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
  • Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame.
  • Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
  • Production of orders.
  • Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times

It all began in 1997, with the opening of the now Greenville dining staple, Soby's New South Cuisine. Table 301 is now Soby's, Table 301 Catering and Kitchen, The Lazy Goat, NOSE DIVE, Jianna, Passerelle Bistro, Southern Pressed Juicery, Highway 301 Food Truck and Table 301 Catering.
Requirements
  • Display basic knife and fundamental prep skills
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in fast paced, scratch kitchen - everything made fresh
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day
  • Must exhibit self-motivation and a desire to learn & advance within the company
  • Must have a go giver personality and willingness to help
  • Must have availability to work primarily weekend, AM & PM shifts
  • Certification/attending a culinary institute is a plus!

The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant in Greenville's West End that offers a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East. The culinary team is known for a "made from scratch" approach to cooking. Our menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat and cheese plates, small plates to "graze and nibble," and main dishes. The epitome of social dining-dining that is designed around taking your time and sharing great food and stories-The Lazy Goat was designed with a relaxed atmosphere in mind. Guests can enjoy house made drinks in the dining room overlooking the Reedy River, at the bar or on the patio. A private dining room is also available for parties as large as 115 people. With an open kitchen, cozy platform bars, late night service and communal tables, The Lazy Goat invites guests to slow down, treat their taste buds, and take the time to truly enjoy the food, company and conversation.
