At The Law Office of Usman B. Ahmad, PC, we are looking for a new addition to the Paralegal team. Our Paralegal Team works closely with Attorneys on all aspects of case preparation. Ideal candidate must be a team player, independent, innovative and forward looking.

At the Firm, we specialize in Family Based Petitions, Removal Defense and Business Immigration. Providing our clients the best service is our number one priority.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Draft and file petitions/USCIS applications
• Provide clients information on case processing
• Update and maintain the case management system (Cerenade)
• Handle administrative duties such as answering client phone case, organize files, making copies, filing, etc.
• Translate documents (if necessary)
• Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress to supervising attorney

Qualifications and Skills

• 6 months to 1- year of immigration experience
• Pose strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas.
• Experience in gathering documentation from clients
• Solid MS Word, and Excel skills
• Experienced Google apps (preferred )
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Think outside the box attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Achieve a high level of productivity with accuracy
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding case assignment
• Strong multitasking skills
