The Law Office of Michael P. Carestia is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Atlanta, GA

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in all stages of the litigation process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in legal research and administrative tasks to contribute to our firm's success. Duties: - Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information - Transcribe and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and contracts - Manage document management systems and ensure all case files are organized and up-to-date - Conduct thorough legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and other relevant legal authorities - Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions - Coordinate with external parties such as court personnel, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses - Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of case information - Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence - Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness Experience: - Proven experience working as a Litigation Paralegal or similar role - In-depth knowledge of legal procedures and terminology related to litigation - Proficiency in using document management systems and other legal software - Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing legal documents - Strong written and verbal communication skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
