Senior Associate, M&A Reports to: SVP of M&A

Primary Responsibilities:

• Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the LHMCO and the portfolio companies.
• Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
• Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies.

Primary Duties:

You will work with a team focused on identifying, targeting, and screening potential acquisitions and growth capital investments.

• Lead due-diligence in a M&A transaction or growth-capital investment
• Evaluate investments opportunities in the context of corporate goals and make recommendations to Executive Team
• Develop sector point-of-view through research and present findings with an understanding of risks and opportunities
• Build financial models to understand key value drivers & run valuation analysis
• Source & interpret relevant data on markets, competitors, transactions & trends
• Monitor macroeconomic indicators & research market trends that impact the LHM Portfolio of companies & investments
• Support in M&A process activity: process letters, LOI’s, modeling, VDR, diligence tracker, management meetings, implementation strategy, etc.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master's Degree preferred)
• 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, economics, or related field
• Ability to lead a M&A process and interact with advisory firms
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Bloomberg Terminal experience preferred
• S&P Capital IQ experience preferred
