The Kroenke Group is a Columbia, Missouri, based leading national, privately held real estate developer, investor and property manager. We develop and manage large retail power centers across the country.

The position will be based in our Columbia, MO office and will report to the Director of Leasing and Development. The Project Manager is responsible for the management, coordination, and general oversight of all assigned construction activities undertaken at company properties.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Leasing Department to manage construction-related tasks associated with leasing and development primarily in the initial stages, including but not limited to:

• Project pre-planning
• Lease exhibit (tenant workletters) preparation/negotiation
• Estimating
• Plan review
• The Project Manager may at times manage the entire construction related process, which, in addition to the above, would include: Selecting and managing professionals/consultants
• Managing entitlements
• Managing bidding and awards
• Contract negotiation (with Legal)
• Construction oversight
• Fulfilling lease requirements according to approved budget and schedule.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand architectural and civil plans.
• Ability to analyze existing conditions to markup proposed lease construction exhibits (tenant workletters) to create cost savings.
• Strong estimating ability
• Scheduling experience
• Experience in bid review and qualification process
• Strong communication and computer skills

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in construction, engineering, or architecture.
• 2-3 years of architectural and/or engineering experience preferred.
• Commercial real estate (specifically retail) construction experience preferred but not required.

Travel Required.
