SUMMARY: Experienced in high volume, high quality preparation and production of hot and cold catered event foods. May involve cooking in public and interacting with clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare menu items from posted production lists
Cook and present menu items to specification
Adhere to food and work safety procedures and keep organized work area
Lead small groups to execute event foods
Work club concession stands and action stations as needed
Some roles may require strict confidentiality
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may oversee small groups of cooks in preparation projects and event execution
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of upscale food preparation in high volume catering operation or restaurant
Culinary degree or certification preferred
Demonstrate ability in all cooking methods: Grilling to temperature, sautéing, roasting, braising, deep frying, poaching
Excellent attendance
Devoted learner
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand for long periods of time
