Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient food service delivery and providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Assist in the smooth operation of the restaurant by delivering food orders to customers in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate and efficient food delivery
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Help set up and break down banquet events as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring tables are properly set and condiments are stocked
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as garnishing plates or assembling appetizers, when necessary
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and servers
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Knowledge of banquet and hotel operations is preferred
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required
