The Keller Group is currently seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join a top-notch corporate accounting department at one of our long-term clients. This role will support our client in Scottsdale, Arizona and is newly added due to growth, as this company is expanding quickly. The ideal candidate must be a hands-on multitasker and bring excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Why Position is Open: Add to staff, due to growth
Compensation: 70,000 - 75,000 bonus
Location: Old Town Scottsdale (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations to assist with monthly close processes
- Assist in budget support and completion
- Partner with Accounting Manager on department wide projects
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Previous account reconciliation experience
- Must be highly proficient in Excel
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Able to support a growing company; work comfortably both independently and collaboratively with co-workers to resolve any issues that may arise
- Proactive and detail-oriented
