The Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation is Hiring a Business Analyst Near Philadelphia, PA

Job DescriptionBusiness Support AnalystAt The Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation (The Kappa Foundation), our Business Support Analyst will become essential to the day-to-day success of our national organization. We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for performing tasks that leverage skills in Accounting, Program Management, Database Management and Administrative professional support for the Executive Committee within our organization. The ideal candidate should be able to use independent judgement on assignments that are often sensitive and highly confidential in nature. We are looking for someone who can work independently with little supervision and is exceptionally well organized, flexible and enjoys challenges.
What You’ll Do For UsAccounting | Bookkeeping
  • Maintain financial records in Quickbooks
  • Create and produce month-end financial reports
  • Support monthly reconciliation of accounting records
Database Administration
  • Maintain database accuracy in Donor Perfect (Primary donor management system) and other data base systems as necessary
  • Upload database records from various data collection systems
  • Maintain and reconcile historical member contribution records
  • Clean, sanitize and purge database records as necessary
  • Develop | recommend process and tools to consistently manage our donor data
Membership Support
  • Work with membership of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity to understand and appropriately address concerns member concerns
  • Resolve membership data integrity challenges
  • Prepare annual member giving statements
  • Codify and address other membership support needs as necessary
Donor | Sponsorship Management Support
  • Support active donor engagement routines
  • Assist Foundation Executive Director with donor | sponsor metrics and reporting
  • Prepare donor and sponsor collection and disbursement reports as necessary
  • Maintain accurate inventory of Foundation assets used to support our donor management (i.e. Medallions, pins, etc.)
General Program Management and Reporting
  • Develop and execute project plans and timelines for key fund-raising event
  • Facilitate the identification of project risks and establish management plans
  • Provide verbal and/or written project updates
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School and some college preferred in Business, Accounting, Communications, or similar field is ideal.
  • 7 years of experience in a high-level support role preferred.
  • Must possess proven ability to be a resourceful problem-solver.
  • Experience in coordinating projects.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Experience working with QuickBooks account software.
  • Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines are needed.
  • Support experience in a non-profit, professional services, grant writing, or marketing environment is ideal.
  • Experience successfully creating and/or modifying process
