The Junkluggers of Colorado is a locally owned and operated franchise within The Junkluggers. We are a rapidly growing business looking to hire entrepreneurially driven self-starters to be part of the leadership team in a new and exciting venture. This role will begin as Operations Manager with the opportunity to grow into a General Manager position as we execute our multi-year, multi-territory development plan. Prior industry experience is a plus.
The Junkluggers is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional junk removal, providing sustainable disposal services for homes and businesses. Our friendly, professionally trained, licensed, and insured employees specialize in removal of unwanted items from homes & businesses. We partner with local partners to re-home, repurpose and recycle everything we can as a part of our landfill diversion mission.
Key Aspects of the Operations Manager Role
Leadership – Managing/coaching team and holding all accountable. Lead training & growth of new and existing employees.
Logistics – Coordinating team & routes daily. Actively communicating with customers.
Business Development - Growing the business and brand with a creative and flexible mindset. Estimating jobs, closing deals, maximizing value & ensuring service excellence.
Accountability – Tracking & communicating KPIs. Ensuring goals are met/exceeded.
Opportunity - Potential to move into a larger role as the business grows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Franchise Owner in all aspects of operations.
• Assist Franchise Owner in all business development requirements.
• Fill in for subordinate positions when needed to fulfill customer needs.
• Attend/lead team meetings and events.
• Dispatch and track trucks/routes/teams daily.
• Liaise with the Appointment Center & National Accounts teams.
• Drive Profitability.
• Drive Safety.
• Build strong relationships with all partners and facilities.
• Drive customer service and address any negative feedback ASAP.
• Drive employee accountability and report infractions accurately and expediently.
• Train new hires for subordinate roles.
• Reconcile paperwork, hours, and data in system.
• Ensure trucks & equipment are in good working order and always accounted for.
• Ensure all decisions are made in the company’s best interest.

Compensation

• Full time salaried role; $50,000-60,000, depending on experience.
• Revenue-based bonus upon completion of training period.
