Working with a food manufacturer in southern Orange County, CA searching for a Quality Control Technician to join their team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that products meet established quality standards before they are released for distribution or use. You will perform various tests, inspections, and evaluations to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.Responsibilities:Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.Record and analyze data from quality assessments, maintaining accurate and detailed records of findings.Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities in product quality to appropriate personnel.Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues promptly.Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Assist in investigating root causes of quality problems and recommend corrective actions.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality control is advantageous.Proven experience in quality control or a related field may be preferred.Understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in using basic computer applications for data recording and analysis.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
