Compensation range: $34.00 - $40.00

City Experiences is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our operation in San Francisco

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

Oversees and manages all aspects of the engineering department including the engineering TEAM, budgets, scheduled and unscheduled repairs/maintenance and assists with long-term planning and execution of projects for the fleet in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manages daily job assignments and projects.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and perform repairs for all shipboard systems including main engines, generators, shaft line, ancillary equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and galley equipment.
  • Manages appropriate budgets for all repairs and maintenance, capitol expenses and drydocks.
  • Works closely with the Director of Marine Operations and Port Captain to ensure a cohesive relationship between all departments.
  • Procure equipment, tools and materials for all vessel needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program (Helm Connect) for all vessels, equipment, and facilities.
  • Reports status of ongoing repairs and maintenance to the management Team.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Strong foundation in leading a TEAM while utilizing excellent communication skills
  • Five years of experience in the Maritime industry
  • Two years of experience managing a Marine Maintenance department
  • USCG License a plus (Chief Engineer or Master)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • A Flexible schedule is required as dictated by engineering needs. Days, evenings, weekends and holidays
