IQBG is looking for a passionate and talented part-time Proposal Coordinator to join our expanding Proposal Development Team. We are a fast-growing small business providing innovative enterprise information systems (EIM) solutions to Federal, state, local, and commercial customers. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, a natural leader, a strategic and analytical thinker, demonstrates and drives effective time management, proactively problem-solves, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing, enthusiastic team; help evolve our proposal development process and artifacts; and establish best practices to provide for company success. The Proposal Coordinator supports the Proposal Manager throughout the entire proposal process, to include solicitation evaluation, writing assignment artifact receipt and master document assembly, Microsoft Teams site organization and management, technical writing, desktop publishing, and editing. This position reports to the Proposal Director, but directly supports the Proposal Manager. This opportunity is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
§ Support the Proposal Manager in executing the proposal process
§ Facilitate effective collaboration among Proposal Team members
§ Perform detailed analyses of solicitation requirements
§ Aid Proposal Manager in developing and populating the compliance matrix, as needed
§ Establish and maintain a Microsoft Teams collaboration site and proposal repository for each bid
§ Participate in proposal kickoff meetings and status calls and document/distribution team member action items
§ Manage the collection of writing assignments
§ Verify integration of win strategies, themes, and discriminators into proposal
§ Aid authors in developing proposal content as needed
§ Conduct compliance checks and provide related process training and guidance to proposal team members
§ Facilitate proposal reviews and debrief meetings, documenting and aiding in recovery plans with recommendations for content improvement and/or compliance
§ Edit, desktop publish, author, and coordinate technical proposal sections, as needed
§ Complete forms as required and coordinate the collection of forms completed by other team members
§ Review and edit submissions from teaming partners, ensuring their input meets specified requirements and the expected quality level
§ Coordinate production activities and ensure the timely submission of all proposal deliverables
§ Aid in conducting and documenting proposal lessons learned and implementing actions to improve process efficiencies
Qualifications:
§ 3 years of proposal coordination experience
§ 2 years of other proposal functional role experience (coordination, writing, editing, production)
§ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or other related technical fields
§ Familiarity and experience with Shipley methodologies
§ Background in business development, marketing, and/or communications is preferred
§ Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven experience writing, reviewing, desktop publishing, and editing proposals and associated content
§ Strong computer skills, including word processing, document management, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
§ Ability to support teams that include individuals from all levels of the corporate organization, partners, consultants, and other proposal participants
§ Strong time management skills and the ability to simultaneously support overlapping projects
§ A ‘do-whatever-it-takes,’ team-player attitude
